What is TurtleTrac and how does it work?

All around the World, sea turtles are found, rehabilitated and released all year round.

Microchipped turtles can be logged by the implanting organisation on TurtleTrac which means their origin will be known from that point onwards.

Whenever a turtle is found that has been logged on TurtleTrac, those finders will be able to securely log in and view the original information and animal's history.

It is also possible to log photos, measurements and activity events to build up a clearer picture of the sea turtle's history.
